WIFM Pittsburgh is one of 37 chapters worldwide and is a member of Women In Film and Television International and is dedicated to improving the status and portrayal of women in film, video and other screen based media.
Women In Film and Media were presented with a Proclamation from Mayor Luke Ravenstahl.
This proclamation was originally presented to WIFM at their Opal Awards in October 2007.
Women In Film and Media were very excited about receiving this proclamation and the support of the Mayor of Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh City Council.
